recent stuff

So I have been pretty busy over the past few months finishing my next record (mixing it now!!) and working as a musical director and producer/writer for a ton of different artists. The tracking for my next record is done and I am so happy with how it came out and I feel so blessed to have had so many great artists involved with the project. The album is a very intimate album that feels very organic and natural and show cases each artist involved in a unique way. The album will be out on Porter Records (www.porterrecords.com) either late this year or at the start of next year; Porter has been such a blessing supporting me so much through the process of making this record. Some of the artists featured on the album are: Paris Carney, Jesse Palter and the Alter Ego, Joey Dosik, Josh Lopez, Greg Garbowsky, Anthony Valadez, Dexter Story and Yonatan Elkayam.

Other than my record I have been blessed to work with a ton of great artists, here are a few of my favorites that I have been working with:

LP (www.iamlp.com):

She is a truly amazing talent and one of my best friends. She is signed with Rebel One management and 2101 records (REDOne’s label) and has enlisted me to be her musical director. We did some shows at the beautiful Soho House in LA and will be doing some more showcases in LA and around the world coming up this year. Her songs are really incredible and her band is sounding beyond amazing these days.

Elan Atias (www.elanmusic.com):

Elan was the singer with the legendary Wailers for a long time and is now going to be releasing his second solo album this year. I co-wrote/produced/played on 6 tracks from his upcoming album and I couldn’t be happier with how the material is sounding.

Yonatan Elkayam (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Yonatan-Elkayam/122055484529122):

Yonatan is one of my best friends and we do tons of work together writing and producing for a bunch of different artists, he is also mixing a few tracks on my new record. He is finally doing his own solo project and I produced one of the tracks for his EP monster coming out this year and have been helping him out with his live show. His live show is one of the best, most creative live sets I have ever been a part and it has been such a pleasure to watch the music and ideas grow. I will be doing another big show with Yonatan on July 23rd at 9pm at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood if you’d like to check out the set.

Alright, back to finishing the record and practicing for the insane amount of gigs that I have coming up this month and in August. More updates soon!!
